​​Hello, I'm Elaine! I'm a 46-year-old photographer based in Longmont, Colorado, with a deep passion for capturing natural, vibrant moments. My journey into photography began in junior high when I took a class thinking it would be an easy A. Sent home with a camera and tasked with learning to use a darkroom, I discovered my love for photography. Years later, after the birth of my third child and finding professional photos too expensive, my husband gifted me a camera. My kids became my first subjects, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Photography is more than a job to me—it's a passion. Specializing in natural light portrait photography, I focus on couples, engagements, maternity, family, children, and candid newborn sessions. Using natural light allows me to capture genuine emotions and the true essence of my subjects, creating images that are both beautiful and authentic.

Living in Longmont, I’m lucky to have access to stunning natural landscapes that enhance my photos. From majestic mountain views to serene lakes and vibrant fields, the scenery complements the emotions and stories I aim to capture. My sessions are laid-back and fun, designed to make my clients feel relaxed and comfortable, resulting in images that reflect their true selves.

1. My Three Beautiful Grandkids: They bring so much joy into my life that it feels like my heart might burst from happiness.

2. Warm Weather and the Beach: The Dominican Republic has captured my heart as my all-time favorite beach destination. I can’t wait to return and soak up the sun again!

3. Tacos: My husband makes the best tacos ever—seriously, they're so good that I can't get enough. I might need a taco intervention soon!

4. Coffee: I've toyed with the idea of opening my own coffee shop, and thanks to my daughter, I'm now hooked on adding ground cinnamon to my coffee. It’s a little taste of heaven in every cup!

5. Pool Time with Family: When I'm not working, you’ll likely find me hanging out with my kids and grandkids at the pool, enjoying their company and splashing around.

6. Movies: I’m a big fan of going to the movies—romcoms are my absolute favorite! If you have any recommendations, I’m all ears.

7. Podcasts: It might be a bit quirky, but I love diving into true crime and self-help podcasts. They’re my guilty pleasure and a great way to unwind.

8. Skincare: I’m passionate about skincare and absolutely love helping others achieve their best skin. It’s always rewarding to see someone glow with confidence!
